Association of the International Certified Financial Consultants

is a major international financial centre, comprising an integrated network of institutions and markets. HK's financial markets are characterized by a high degree of liquidity and operate under effective and transparent regulations at an international standard. Hong Kong has been ranked first in terms of economic freedom which has good reputation in Asia Pacific and is the world class financial centre.

The Institute of Financial Consultants, USA (IFC) offers an educational program leading to the designation of Certified Financial Consultant ® (CFC) issued to qualified graduates. CFC mark is registered with US Government Patent & Trade Mark Office, USA, and with the National Certification Commission, USA. AICFC was appointed as an Approved Learning Centre of the IFC in Hong Kong since 2011, providing CFC financial qualifications.

The Association is multidisciplinary, including its members from the various fields of accountancy, insurance, banking, securities, wealth management and consulting services. The Association is forging a "new" profession that adopts the best features from these related professions and encourages the development of members' qualifications as financial consultants on the basis of their current professional qualifications and to upgrade the risk management analysis and ability.

Financial consultants provide advice to clients from the financial planner advising individual clients on investments to those working as corporate financial officer, portfolio manager, security analyst and banker in organizations as diverse as brokerage firms, mutual funds, banks, trust companies, corporate finance departments, insurance companies and other financial management firms.

AICFC aims to ensure its members provide competent, ethical, objective, professional and practical financial advice. This is to the advantage of clients and employers, the profession and individual members of the organization.
